We just had a customer email this when trying to reserve their ticket: |
Hello, Seeing other registrant/attendee details during registration checkout indicates that their is some kind of caching running. Who is your hosting provider? — |
|
|
This has never happened before until now. Our hosting provider is Host Gator, we have a VPS server from them. |
Hi, could you go to your WP dashboard and then the plugins screen and let us know if you see any of the following plugins? W3 total cache …or any other performance related plugins? — |

I had Fastest Cache installed about 3 weeks ago (didnt see any issues until way after that though)…I deleted it today though when you mentioned cache. I had originally put it on there because our images werent showing on the calendar after updates were made so I had it there to delete cache when updating. there is no other cache plugin now |
Hi, I’m not familiar with that plugin but after looking at the FAQ, I do think that it could contribute to the issues that your customer reported: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-fastest-cache/faq/ They do offer a no caching option for certain pages: How can stop caching for some pages? This is similar to the no-cache / exclusion rules that we recommend for other caching solutions: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/setup-nocache-exclusion-rules-event-espresso/ — |

I dont have any cache plugins now and didnt seem to need one before, I just had that on there temporarily to try it out. Seems like all of these problems occurred when our web development person updated plugins and wordpress. Our menus and EE was not working at all and we updated those and then things went hay-wire. |
