Hi,

I have an event with three workshops.

Registrants must attend all three workshops. So, when they register they should be registered for workshop 1, 2, and 3.

Is this achievable? So far I have set it up as a recurring event, but registering only registers you for one instance, not all three.

Hi,

I think the best set up here is to link the events registration together.

It is a little bit of manual work to do so.

Start by creating 3 events, manually of via Recurring Event manager.

Make a note of the URL to the 1st events registration page

In the 2nd and 3rd events, edit these settings:

“Display registration form? ” = No
“Alternate Registration Page (optional)” = the url of the first event.

What this will effectively do is allow you to have the events show on the calendar and in the list as separate dates, but the user will be routed directly to the 1st event and therefore will register only for that event.

You may wish to add the additional dates into the first events description.

Some users prefer not to use the “Alternate Registration Page (optional)” setting, so without that you would need to link each event via the event description.

Hope that helps!
