Hi,
My client has a website selling tickets for guided tours in Amsterdam. Most of his clients speak english. But when they purchase a ticket from the netherlands the checkout is in dutch.

I contacted PayPal Technical support They told me to add <input type=”hidden” name=”lc” value=”GB”> and contact you about how to implement this with Event Espresso.

Can you help us with this issue or do you have another solution to force customers to go to the English checkout.

Regards,
Anne-Marie de Haan

Hi Anne-Marie,

You can add the hidden input that PayPal suggested by adding a bit of PHP code to your website. Here’s a link to a gist that has the code example:

You can add the above to a functions plugin or into your WordPress theme’s functions.php file.

Hi Josh,

Thanks for your quick reply and your suggested solution. I tried it, but it didn’t seem to work. I think because it’s a solution for EE4. My client uses EE Version 3.1.37.8.P Is that possible?

Is there also a solution for EE3?

Kind regards,
Anne-Marie
