With the “Force Login for registrants” turned off, the ticket still shows you must login to register.

Can you show us your WP User settings or disable the WP User Integration add-on to ensure it’s not a setting there?

Hi there,

The ‘Force login for registrants’ option forces users to log-in before they can register tickets.

The above is slightly different, it’s a ‘traffic cop’, basically EE checks for a user account in the database with the same details as the registration and requires that user to log in:

https://eventespresso.com/product/eea-wp-user-integration/#traffic-cop

The reason we do this is to keep registrations in sync with the user account, but it can be disabled using a snippet. The second file here:

https://gist.github.com/joshfeck/1131145859a3fab58f4d#file-disable_email_match_everyone-php

You can add that to a custom functions plugin on your site, we have some documentation on creating one here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/create-site-specific-plugin-wordpress-site/

That will allow the registrations to be processed without the above check.

I recommend navigating to Event Espresso -> Registration form -> User integration settings and disabling the ‘Always sync contact information with WP user profile?’ option if using the above snippet.
