For 'Available Tickets', is its 'Qty' unique to each 'Event Datetimes'?

I am wondering if someone purchases a ticket, will it change QTY from 40 to 39 for all event datetimes, or will each event datetime still show 40 except the event datetime that it was purchased for?

I may need to re-ask my question as, if tickets are limited in qty uniquely for each event date time, should I be building the tickets per each event datetime or can I simply build the two ticket types in the general ‘Available Tickets’ area?

For example, we have 6 dates with each date having 40 preferred tickets, and 35 regular tickets. Do I have to set those up individually on each date, or can I simply use the available tickets with 40/35 qty?

Hi timnethers,

You will need to set up individual tickets for each datetime.

The reason for this is that when you create multiple datetimes and assign a ticket to all of those datetimes, then you are saying that ticket has access to all of those dateimtes. So then if one of those datetimes sells out, the ticket will sell out, because it not longer provide access to all datetimes.

So create individual datetimes, then individual tickets for each of those datetimes (you can select the datetime/tickets that apply within the datetime/tickets options) this allows individual control of the ticket sales and the datetime sales.
