Fix the stuck loading payment information spinner on the Thank You page (2)

Hi!

The previous support post was closed without a response.

Meanwhile we need to start using EE tomorrow and we would like to have this fixed ASAP.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist you?

Hi,

I couldn’t see any issues with the free event. Can you provide a link to a test event (with a price over 0) that we can test please?

Hi,

Yes I do see the issue http://take.ms/22tlr

The only thing I can think that would be causing this is if your host has disabled the WordPress Heartbeat API, as this code uses this API.

I know WP Engine disable it by default, but you may wish to check with your particular host.

One other question – do you know if this only occurs for people paying with the Invoice or with PayPal as well?

We have opened a ticket to look into this as we are seeing the issue on other sites. I’ll ask the developer to update this thread once we know more about it.

I want to let you know that the issue with the stuck payment information loader is fixed in Event Espresso 4.7.10.p. It’s available as a 1-click update from your WP > Plugins page.
