Filter within table view category does not work

Hi,
I am using Event Espresso and the table view add-on for a site that is under development. I have a Course Custom Post Type which shows all courses that are run (not just what Events are in the calendar). At the bottom of an individual course post, depending on this course’s category, I have listed the Events in that course’s category.
But the category filter does not do what you might expect. It cannot be used to switch to another category (you just get blank table). You can see it on this course page here – http://createdev.net/pos2work/course/stress-managementresilience-training/
I understand that this listing is already filtered for a category but it makes the category filter pointless and it would be good if you could change the category to a completely different category when selected by the filter. I will probably just remove the filter but want to be sure that this is not possible.
Thanks

Hi,

You will need to remove the category parameter from the shortcode. When you pass the category in the shortcode, that will alter the query so only events from that category will be queried. Any events not from that category will not be skipped.

What you can do is remove the query from the shortcode, which will load all the events and allow the category filtering selector to do what it does.

Hi Josh,
I figured as much. That’s ok.
Thanks
