On the backend we need a way to filter out a certain type of registration that is incomplete from appearing. I noticed there are two different types of incomplete orders on our system. First being ones where Last Method of Payment equals ‘Check’. and the other one where it equals ‘Unknown’. Our client doesn’t want the unknown ones from appearing, so was wandering if there was a way to do this?

Hi there,
Currently Event Espresso can not filter the registrations based on the payment method, however there should not be an ‘Unknown’ payment method.
Are you using a custom payment method currently?
Or did you previously use a payment method add-on and have now de-activated that?

No we are not.. The ‘Unknown’ payment method appears if you fill out all registration information and click on ‘Proceed to Payment Options’.. But if for some reason a user doesn’t click on Stripe or on Check, but instead leaves the screen, it still creates an incomplete registration on the backend but with ‘Unknown’ as Last Payment Method.. This is causing the confusion for the client since when they download the csv files these also appear and is throwing off the registration numbers.. And to reiterate, the only two payment methods we are using are the built in Check Payments, and the EE Stripe Payment Gateway.

One way to deal with those transactions with the Unknown payment method would be to move their registrations to the Trash.
