Hi Good Day!

i would like to create a function that will view/filter all the upcoming events that is not expired. is this possible? if yes, can you help us find which tables and fields to use for this function. Thanks!

Hi Ferdie,

Is this for the front end event list? Or the widget?

Are you wanting to filter them before they are displayed or allow the user to filter them?

Yes this is for front end event list.

I would like to know which tables and fields i should use in order to create a query that will filter all events that are not expired.

Hi Ferdie,

I can recommend having a look at EE4’s EES_Espresso_Events class (found in EES_Espresso_Events.shortcode.php). It makes use of a show_expired shortcode attribute. If you need to include more details (or filter by more statuses) in the event details list, there is additional documentation here as well:
