Our site dissapeared when it was migrated to a new environment. I had an old 2 weeks) WP backup. After reinstalled the site there were registrations missing from 12 days. Our websupport is looking for a newer file in their backup and want to know the files name. What should they be looking after?
All of your Event Espresso data is saved within the database and not within the plugin files themselves. Before the move did they not crate a full database backup?
I don´t know if they created a full database backup. They asked me what to look for in order to restore the missing registrations. Does the database file have a name? Or what can I tell them to look for?
Well, yes the database files will have filenames but I can’t tell you what those are as it depends on how the server is set up. We (Event Espresso) don’t save any of your event data to any files, we save them within the DB and whatever is set up on the server handles it from there (usually MySQL).

These are questions your web host should be able to answer, if its them asking you to ask for the filenames of where EE (and therefor WordPress) stores data within the database then unfortunately I’m not what help I can give you.
You need a backup of the database from right before the move, if you web host migrated you to a new environment they usually run a backup before doing so, if you were moved by another developer (not your webhost) they should have created a database backup and then also move the database over. If not, you’ll need request one from the webhot from before the move.
