I know you guys are really focusing on the 3.2 release. I wanted to make a feature request for Groupon’s payment gateway: Breadcrumb Payments

It’s pricing beats out Stripe.
Breadcrumb Payments: 1.8% + 15¢ per swipe
Stripe: 2.9% + 30¢
I’d be curious to use them as a Paypal alternative. I”m sure with pricing like that, and the fact that Groupon has been sending this to us merchants, many others would be curious to switch.
Any chance of getting Breadcrumb Payments added in?

Currently we are only adding payment gateways if the development cost is sponsored ( see here https://eventespresso.com/rich-features/multiple-pricing-options/custom-payment-gateway-development/)

Thanks for the info. I didn’t know that. If we go that route, does it get added into the Event Espresso for everyone? On the other side, as this isn’t an urgent request, if I wait around to see if anyone else pays to have that developed, will I get to have access too (cause it’s added in to Event Espresso core)?

Hi,
Yes, generally sponsored development projects are added into the core plugin so would be available to everyone.

Hi Karla,
Yes it would be added for everyone. We already have 30 payment gateways, so we generally only add new gateways that are large and cover a wide international user base, unless it is sponsored development.
