1. Be able to schedule messages after a class for follow up and reminders down the line to repeat a class.
2. Allow students to log in to their own registration to cancel or transfer (with appropriate cancellation fees)
3. Make the contact field page more prominent rather than searching a registration

However, we don’t currently have functionality for cancellation fees within EE so this will take some planning.

1. Is there an ETA for this? This is a huge reason why I’ve been looking at switching platforms.
2. Maybe this would be possible if students had to login to an account to manage their registration? I’d like to be able to set a 50% cancellation fee after x days.
3. I would like the contact list to be available on the left hand menu to use as as a crm basically. I want to also be able to add prospects, those who have not signed up for a class yet, but are interested in doing so. And I would also like to search by business/organization a person is associated with.

Not currently, making sure EE4 is ready for WP5 forced us to move development time around.

As far as I am aware, the only way a registrant will be able to eventually cancel their registration is by logging in first, allowing just anyone to cancel their registration without logging in would likely be asking for abuse.

EE wasn’t designed to be used as a ‘contact’ crm, contacts are linked to registrations and we don’t have an option to add just contacts as you’d then have contacts without registrations.
Additional parameters can be added to the contact list and then searched through, however, that’s going to take some custom development and based on the fact that you want to add contacts that aren’t registrations you’d need to store organization values with the contact itself, likely using custom fields.
In short, to change EE to be used as a crm in the way you are requesting is going to take a fair bit of customization.

Hi noticed the link to Trello to see feature requests but I haven’t signed up to vote. Allowing users to cancel registrations would be a great thing. Has it already been set up without the cancellation fee side of things?

No frontend cancellations of any kind have been set up for users on the front end as of yet.
The only method available is via the admin, meaning the user would need to contact the admin and have them cancel the registration for them.
