We are getting the error msg below when trying to access this page – https://www.babinc.org/events/ittakestworegistration/

Can you assist ?? Weirdly, it only seems to affect some computers though …

I’m CCing my events colleagues Anna Doherty and Alice Mount to this email, so if you can please reply all in your response that would be appreciated.

The page worked yesterday (in fact it still works on my computer) … and no settings have been changed.

Hi there,

It appears your hosting account has been suspended. When I go to the URL that you posted here, this screenshot shows what I get redirected to:

Can you contact your hosting company for assistance?

This actually isn’t an email. This is a support forum topic. You can send your colleagues this URL so they can follow the updates:

Sorry, our server admins were testing. We are back online and the problem still remains. Please advise.

So looking closely at the settings for that event, it appears the client had placed (1) in the Minimum Quantity section and (2) in the Maximum Quantity section, but the Datetimes was left blank. I deleted those settings and saved the event and it appears to be working now. However, on Microsoft Edge browser the event details load extremely slow. Chrome loads ok. Any advice. If they must have the extra settings? What is the proper way to handle Datetimes?

Regarding the error: Fatal Error – Event Esspresso\core\exceptions

Do you have the full error messages? I can’t trigger it on the site but you should have it available within the servers error_logs.

So looking closely at the settings for that event, it appears the client had placed (1) in the Minimum Quantity section and (2) in the Maximum Quantity section, but the Datetimes was left blank.

Can you provide more details on the datetimes, the min/max qty settings shouldn’t cause any problems, but what do you mean the datetimes were blank?

The qty on the datetimes were blank?

Or the datetime section within the ticket options (HERE) was blank?

However, on Microsoft Edge browser the event details load extremely slow. Chrome loads ok. Any advice.

That’s not just happening on Edge, I get the same results on Chrome. I’m guessing most of the external files are cached on your version of chrome, for page load takes over 38 seconds and TTFB is consistently almost 20.

TTFB in theory is how quickly your web server can respond to the request so in short it’s taking almost 20 seconds for your server to actually start to output the page. There’s a lot more to optimization that just TTFB and I often comment not get too fixated on the numbers, however ~20 seconds for TTFB is a very long time and I’d recommend contacting your host to investigate.

Are you using a shared server?
