Hi I just purchase your product today and I’m testing it to my localhost.
Suddenly I got this error when saving/adding questions to question groups.

I tried creating new question group then add the questions and same thing happens.

XAMPP Version: 5.6.14
Control Panel Version: 3.2.2
Windows 7

And another question, is it possible to make another dropbox for custom questions with the same functions like state/province? Like for example when the option is not on the list the user has the option to put it on the textbox regardless if it is added to the database or not.

Do you happen to remember how the First Name question got unselected for that group? That’s normally not possible.

For your other question, that’s not currently in the feature set. You could add an “other” select option, then follow up with a text input question that asks “If other, please specify”.

Hi Josh, thanks for your response.

Actually I am wondering too, how and why it is unselected. It was unselected on the first time I viewed it. On the demo I tried, the Personal Questions Group have the other predefined questions like address, contact number, etc. Do I have to upgrade my version?

Somehow I made it work and I can save now. But I know my copy is not clean and not the proper way.

What I did is deactivate EE 4.8 paid version and install the EE decaf 4.7(demo if im not mistaken) then after that I got all the pre-made questions, I deactivated the EE decaf and activate the paid version then it works. I can save now.

Is there any cleaner way to do this?

It should not actually be all the different.

Decaf has less features that Regular Event Espresso however the database should be setup in a very similar way in both versions.

If you currently do not have any registrations/events etc and would like to start fresh (setting up through Event Espresso regular) there is a reset option within Event Espresso you can use.

However before going any further I would recommend creating a database backup just to be safe. There is lots of options available for creating database backups, heres is a plugin I use:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/backupwordpress/

One you have a back up your current database we can advise how to reset EE and retry.
