I get this error when trying to view an event page from the admin panel.

Fatal error: Call to a member function is_espresso_page() on a non-object in /home/clcschool/clcschool.org/wp/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/CPTs/EE_CPT_Strategy.core.php on line 357

I don’t even know how to start troubleshooting this. Can anyone help?

Hi Lance, are you experiencing this issue with the latest version of Event Espresso 4?

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-changelog/

If you are not using the latest version, then could you backup your site deactivate Event Espresso 4 and then upgrade?

Thanks

Lorenzo

I am using v4.8.5p. I just upgraded earlier today, just before I reactivated the plugin and experienced the issue. It appears that is the latest version.

Hi Lance,

Yes that is the latest version.

So this is when viewing the events on the front end yes? (Although you used the link within the admin, you are ‘viewing’ the event, not ‘editing’ it correct?

Are all of the EE critical pages published and set to public?

You’ll find a list of these within Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical Pages.

Can you temporarily switch to one of the default themes such as twentyfourteen and re-test this please?
