Hi there,

So in the Dashboard, can you see the Event Espresso menu item?

Go to {domain}/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_maintenance_settings

Do you see something like this? https://monosnap.com/file/QZq68krDkzm3h9hCBFa4i5mGc3dULx

Hi Tony, thanks for your reply.

No, I don’t see the Event Espresso menu on the panel.

When I access the link that you indicate, the same error appears again: “Sorry, you do not have permission to access this page.”
I’m the administrator so I don’t think it’s a permissions problem.
What comes to your mind?
Thanks for your help.

Hi there,

That’s odd! Mind if I take a look?

If that’s ok you can send temp admin login details using this form:

https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

I don’t understand what could be the problem, I have deactivated all the plugins, I have changed the theme, and the error keeps appearing.
Of course I send you the login through the link.
Thanks for your help.

Hi there,

Why I try to load the admin on the site I get a 423 Locked error:

Locked
The requested resource is currently locked. The lock must be released or proper identification given before the method can be applied.

Thats before I can even try to enter the credentials.

Hi, could this be due to a hosting block? I just sent a ticket to be verified if it is so. I’ll confirm as soon as I get an answer.

Hi, Tony,

They have confirmed to me in the hosting that for security they have restricted access to the administration of the websites on their servers.
They have explained to me how to enable access to other countries. I understand that you are accessing from the United Kingdom so I have enabled access. You should no longer have problems accessing. Confirm me when you can.
Thank you very much.

I’m not sure why but on your site the capabilities were not set on the administrator role.

I installed the ‘User Role Editor’ plugin and then forced the capabilities to be set using a custom plugin (I’ve now removed both)… then used the page I referenced above to make sure they were set again.

You should now have access to Event Espresso as normal ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi, Tony,

You have no idea how much I appreciate your help.
I confirm that event Espresso already appears in the menu and I can access it correctly.
Thank you.
All the best.
