Facing difficulty in export of Registration/attendees

Hi!
I need to export the events for today. If I don’t do it for “today” at midnight or later then I have to click this month and find the dates. Then each of the export takes way more buttons than before (as in EE3).
Before each event had the export button. When I export here it takes me to a different page. Then I had to export data for many events and so have to open more tabs.
Moreover, the export format is CSV but I prefer xls.
What to do now?

Hi Mark,

Apologies but I don’t understand the above.

Are you looking for a way to export each individual events specific registrations?

If so you do that in Event Espresso -> Events -> {Hover over the event} -> Registrations. You’ll now see a list of registrations for the event in question, then click the Export button at the bottom of the list table.

Moreover, the export format is CSV but I prefer xls.

You can open CSV’s in MS Excel and then save them to xls(x) if preferred. One of the lessons learnt from EE3 is that supporting multiple formats for the export adds little benefit and simply increases support/development load when CSV’s can be imported anyway.

Currently, we have no plans to add an .xls(x) specific export.

Actually, this method is already known to me. I won’t have to click multiple tabs to do the export operation. I want to export attendees in just one click like EE3.
Is there any way to set this functionality?

This is the SS of the EE3 website and I need these two button functionality exactly similar to this. I don’t want to click on multiple locations for export.

As mentioned in your other thread, we don’t have an Event Export button.

However, if you are looking to simply export all registrations just go Event Espresso -> Registrations.

At the bottom of the list table will be an ‘All Registrations CSV button’ (same as the EE3 button) and a ‘Filtered CSV Report’ button (which applies whatever filters you have enabled on the list table at the time).
