Hello,
Can someone just give me a simple how to add the facebook conversion pixel to the Thank You page. There are couple of posts on here and they are convoluted. Isn’t there a simple “this is the page” and here’s where you add the code.

Hi, where is the documentation for the Facebook Pixel?

Also, have you tried the second option shown here?

Hello, some information on it is here, https://www.facebook.com/help/435189689870514/ but basically when i create an add it just gives me the code.
I looked at your options and its fine i suppose for someone that gets into EE and does a lot with it. I manage hundreds of IT projects with hundreds of different web components etc. I do not have time to get in depth into many of them. However i have enough knowledge that i should be able to open up page that flashes once the Thank You page shows… and add the script and go.. that’s it.
I don’t want to create various PHP pages add snippets..etc.. seems like it should be easy.
Can you tell me which page is the thank you page and where the header in that page comes from ?
Thanks

Nevermind, i found it. i Just added the facebook pixel script code at the bottom of the thank-you-page-overview.template.php
and it’s lighting up green on facebook so there’s connection.

Hi, I was asking for clarification so I could share an example.

Adding the option to one of the templates may work now but unfortunately, that edit will be lost on a software update.

You can use this plugin to assign the Facebook conversion pixel to the Event Espresso 4 thank you page:

Hi there,
Thank you for the link. I just installed the plugin, but I only see the following from EE in the list of “Enable Facebook Conversion Pixel field on these post types”:
Espresso_events
Espresso_venues
Espresso_attendees
Which one should I check?

ok solved it myself. So if anybody does the same mistake as I did: When you install the plugin, just check “Pages” – it won’t add the code to all your pages as I originally thought, it just adds the option to add to any page. Then go edit your thank you page, you will see a field to add the pixel code.

Hi, the option for pages is needed as the Registration Checkout page is a WordPress page with a shortcode.

The following are custom post types:

Espresso_events
Espresso_venues
Espresso_attendees

A single event page would be an example of a custom post type for espresso_events.

A single venue page would be an example of a custom post type for espresso_venues and so forth.
