Hi,

Thanks for the kind words!

The social network settings are in General Settings > Your Organization tab and scroll down a bit.

“look forward to being embarrased again :)”

Nothing to be embarrassed about, there are a lot of options and some are not instantly noticeable.

HI dean I have those settings enabled

http://take.ms/EnrVU

that works for the facebook icon down the buttom of the email but not the one on the sidebar.

My understanding is that one the one on buttom represents the organisational facebook page and then one on right represents the events facebook page.

the short code also implies this using the event shortcodes

http://take.ms/A35CW

any thoughts ?

Hi Brent,

Those are actually specific for each event and need to be added to the event meta.

If you edit the event you’ll find a ‘Custom Fields’ section.

Within there add two meta fields with names – event_facebook & event_twitter

Then add the links you found like that specific event to to link to. For example if your event has its own Facebook page, you’ll input the link to that within the event_facebook value field – http://take.ms/2kU2v

We will be adding our own specific meta boxes for these in a future version of EE4.
