Facebook comments always displayed

Hi,
I have the facebook plugin, and even though I have thicked the box ‘comments closed’ on my events, and even though I’ve unchecked event espresso venues in the facebook comments plugin, I can see a box to comment using FB.
Anyone encounter this issue ?

Hi, you can inspect the element using Chrome developer tools or Firebug or an equivalent tool and then attach that to a display:none. There is a tutorial here on remove various elements from Event Espresso pages:
