I am unable to get a successful import from a CSV file to populate events. We’re moving to a new website and looking to export and then import our events, file allows me to upload, then no information or follow-up post import ant the data is not there.

Hi there,

The CSV import tool from EE3 was not intended to be used as an export/import tool. I’m not sure how you’re getting an export, but in any case the export will not be the same format as the import.

Instead of using the import tool, you could use a tool like phpmyadmin or Sequel Pro to copy over the _events_ tables from one site to the other site. Another site to site migration tool we recommend is wp migrate db and wp migrate db pro.

This unfortunately does not work, we exported tables directly from PHPMyAdmin to the New Site PHPMyAdmin. Data shows in the database, but apparently not on the site.

Which tables were exported and then imported may I ask? Did you check to see if the prefixes match between the _events_ tables and the other tables on the new site?

We received your request for priority support and can look into this right now, but it appears that since there are two websites involved, we’ll need full credentials (including sFTP) for both sites. Can you resend the redeem a support token form and please be sure to send full access to both websites?
