Hello,
Getting mod security error while trying to export filtered CSV. In a few posts, I found the solution by disable Mod Security or remove the specific rule.
But my client is uncomfortable with disabling/removing rules. Is there any other way to solve this without change/remove mod security rule?
Thank You

Hi there,

No, there is no way to prevent this as the request is triggering a rule set within mod_sec on your server. You’ll need to find the specific rule it is triggering and either modify it to not trigger on the request from EE or disable that rule completely.

Thank you tony.
I found the rule causing this problem. Can I trigger this off only for filtered CSV request? Till now my client does not agree to disable mod-security for the whole site. The rule causing the error; “390613”
If can, how will I add this? also I will appreciate any other suggestion 🙂
Thank You

Sure you can, but none of us here are sysadmins, so I don’t have any idea how you would exclude it.

It sounds like you are hosting the site for your client, in which case you’ll need to learn how to add mod_sec exceptions, if not, contact the host and have them exclude the request for you.
