Hello,
I’m trying to found in your demo site og EE4 where is the button to export in .xls or XLS the registrations of an event.
I’m trying many solution for a client who want an export in XLS, NOT in .CSV.
I saw in your documentation that is possible but I can’t find where in the backoffice.
Thanks

Hi there,

EE4 can not export the registrations in XLS.

EE3 had a button to export the data in XLS however this was not carried over to EE4 as CSV files can be opened in the same way as XLS and you can then manipulate the data and save in whichever format you prefer.

Can I ask why you need XLS?

CSV files can either be opened directly, or important into most spreadsheet software.

Hello,

The XLS export is required by my client. They’re on Mac and the CSV export doesn’t work properly on Mac version of Excel. (See the picture).

Is there a tryout version of EE3 ?

Thanks

Which picture?

I’m on Windows but most of the support team use MAC and can open the CSV without a problem.

Is there a tryout version of EE3 ?

Sure, you can test out EE3 by signing up to Test Drive Event Espresso.

Oups sorry I forgot the picture and I can’t upload a picture on server for now sorry. All the fields are in the cell separate by a coma. I’m on Excel 2001 (V. 14.0.0)

I found the demo version of EE3, I found the XLS export and it work perfectly
I think i’ll buy the licence of EE3.

Thanks

Alternatively, the CSV file will open just fine in the Numbers application (made by Apple).
