We have completed an event but when I try to export the attendees I just get an xls file with only the headers populated. There were over 400 attendees so there should be a ton of data in these export files. I have upgraded all plugins to the newest version but still the same results. I have a board meeting that I need to present the attendees list to tomorrow so I would appreciate your help with this.
Do you have the ticketing add-on active? If so, can you try temporarily deactivating it, then run the report again? If the report generates with the ticketing add-on deactivated, this means your server needs to be upgraded to have a newer version of PHP.
Another possibility is your server is running low when it tries to generate the report. This can be remedied by making more memory available to WordPress. There is more information on how to increase the memory here:
I would recommend contacting your host and have them upgrade the version of PHP the server is running.
Sometimes this can cause issues with some plugins (depending on how it is written or if not kept up to date) but in the long term is much better solution as PHP 5.2 is end of life.
