I would like expired event pages to still show up, just without ticket purchasing, since I link to them on my website. Currently, it gives a Page not found.

I’ve set “Display Expired Events” to Yes in Templates.

Hi Chuck,

I wonder if this might be a permalinks issue. I don’t see any future events being displayed on the site either (none published) but if there were any published future events would we see those?

Can you try going to the WP > Settings > Permalinks page in your WP dashboard? That may actually help if this is a permalinks issue.

Weird. I went to the permalinks page and it looked normal. Went back to Event Espresso events, clicked on View on an expired event, and it showed up. I don’t know what happened, but it’s working now, so thanks!

Cool. What actually happens when you merely visit the Settings > Permalinks page is WordPress will “flush” or reset the rewrite rules for the website, which may need to be happen from time to time if you see 404 errors for custom post types.
