Good afternoon! First off, I love this product. It was everything we needed and more! Example: I have 3 different events going on at the same time. We would like it so once the client has selected one ticket for that datetime, the other tickets become unavailable. Because only a few tickets have overlapping Datetimes, we cannot just set the overall limit to “1” to mock exclusivity. Thank you for your time on this! |
Hi Blackdog, One way you could do that is put all the overlapping datetimes within one event, then set that event to only allow one ticket purchase (via the Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event:) setting. Each datetime would have one corresponding ticket type. |

Hello Josh! Hope all is well. Thank you for your speedy reply! Placing them all into one event is a good solution. However, each overlapping event is in a different room and has different capacities. Example: 1-2pm Has the following Tickets: Each ticket represents a different event. This is for a seminar site that offers multiple, overlapping events. Currently, the site has 27 datetimes and 49 events. Thanks again for all your help! 🙂 |
In that case you’ll set each ticket/datetime to have their own capacity limits. Like this: |

Thanks Josh, The issue with that is the datetimes dont have limits. Please review the links I have attached of my current layout. Something similar to what you have suggested may work. I just need to make it easy for clients to select their “Schedule” of events. Tickets: http://tinypic.com/r/200bvyp/9 Datetimes: http://tinypic.com/r/2ni06pw/9 Thanks again. I really do appreciate your time. This is our last step before going live! |
The datetimes can and should have limits (remember one datetime per room), and the room does have a capacity. That’s really a lot of tickets & datetimes for one event, so you’ll do well to break those up into separate events. e.g. one event for everything that happens between 1-2pm, another event for 2-3pm, and so on. |
