Hi There, is it possible to embed eway on my site: http://www.spiritfestival.com.au, I find the hosted solution not ideal as it only marks the ticket as paid if the buyer clicks continue after the purchase.

The current implementation of the eway gateway uses the ‘Shared Payments’ API (http://www.eway.com.au/developers/api/shared-payments.html) which only notifies your event site of the result of the transaction when the customer is redirected back to your site. In order to use eWay directly on your site, we would need to redevelop the gateway using the ‘Direct Payments’ or ‘Rapid API’ methods. (http://www.eway.com.au/developers/api/direct-payments.html).
There are advantages and disadvantages to both methods. The API that we are currently using does not require that your site have an SSL certificate, for example.
You may want to speak with eWay because they may be able to fund part of the redevelopment costs, or contact other Event Espresso customers who would be willing to share in the funding. (https://eventespresso.com/product/custom-gateway-development/)
