Last month I had a little concert with around 200 attendees and sold tickets through my site using EventEspresso. Everything worked well, tickets were sold etc.. However on the day of the event, the ticketing app (on the iPhone) was not working. We did test it before and worked fine. I’m trying to figure out what went wrong, but thats not easy, I don’t know where to start. =/

Have you updated event espresso? There was an update for both the API (Mobile Ticketing API ) and the Ticketing software which was roughly a month or so ago, as there was some issues with the app.
I would start there, check everything is up to date and test the tickets (you can use the ones from that concert if the user hasnt (or even has) been checked in.
