Hi there, getting to like EE4 a lot thanks to some recent ‘upgrades’.

I want to revert my Events Table View Template Add-on to it’s default setting, as I have added some customizations to it.

Also, the header at the top of the table is showing a date where it should be blank (Between the Event and register header boxes)

Also, how can I exclude a category in the main monthly calendar?

Here is the page in question:

Thanks!

Hi there,

I want to revert my Events Table View Template Add-on to it’s default setting, as I have added some customizations to it.

How did you modify the template?

For example, are you loading a custom template from within your theme?

Reverting back to the release version depends on how you have customized your current template.

Also, the header at the top of the table is showing a date where it should be blank (Between the Event and register header boxes)

That is likely due to your customizations as the default template includes other headers within the top row.

Also, how can I exclude a category in the main monthly calendar?

Currently we do not have an option to exclude categories from the calendar. We have an open ticket for this and I have included this thread there.

Hi, I believe it was some code from your site to change the look of the table, it was a while back…. is there a way to change back to the default setting?

Yes, but it depends on how you’ve modified the template.

If you’ve modified the template within the plugin itself (not recommended) you can de-activate and delete the Events Table plugin, download the latest version from your account page and re-install.

However if you have a custom template within your themes directory you’ll need to remove that (updating the plugin will continue to load the custom version)

Take a look within /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/ do you have a ‘espresso-events-table-template.template.php’ file there (or similar)?

Or do you have that file within your sites theme?

Yes, found the file, deleted it and poof, back to default….. can you remind me the code to remove the Venue column in the table?

Thanks so much!

Hi there,

One way to remove the Venue column is add some CSS to your custom stylesheet like this:

.espresso-table .venue_title {display:none;}
.espresso-table-header-row .th-group.footable-sortable:nth-of-type(2) {display:none;}
