Events showing as sold out when tickets are still available

We are regularly seeing events showing as sold out event though there is still 1 ticket available. I have read through other similar posts but haven’t found anything that has resolved the issue.

There are 30 tickets available for the event and it says 30 sold. However, under the ‘Available Tickets’ it says that 29 of the 30 tickets have been sold so there should be 1 available. The event also shows 29 approved registrations with none pending payment or not approved. There are also none showing as reserved.

Could you please look into this as we are missing out on valuable registrations.

May I ask does your site have the current version of Event Espresso 4? The current version number is 4.9.38.p

May I ask where does it say there are 30 sold?

Since you asked us to look into this, the only way we can really look into this is if you can send us access to your site by completing the form on this page:

Please include the name of the event(s) when you send the information.

Hi Josh,

It says 30 out of 30 are sold under the Event Dates/Times section but underneath in the Tickets section it says 29 out of 30 are sold.

Hi Daniel,

There’s some limitations to what we can check since you didn’t send FTP credentials and we don’t have full admin capabilities with the account you sent.

It appears that you do indeed have 30 registrations for the sold out events, but a few of these have appeared to have been cancelled in some way. For example, you can take a look at transaction 164117:
( yoursite.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_transactions&action=view_transaction&TXN_ID=164117 )

At one time this transaction had a registration for one of your sold out events.

Is there a process you’re using or even a customization involved for making cancellations for some of these registrations?
