I have an upcoming events page with different category events listed and
when i added
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE sold_out_button_text=’Event closed’]
it actually displayed events with no category (these are not for public viewing) – how to resolve this please?

May I ask what you mean by this:

The shortcode you’ve added above doesn’t have any categories set so it will display all events. If you want events from a specific category you would need something like:
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE category_slug=your-event-category-slug sold_out_button_text=’Event closed’]

Please note the order to enter classes in is:- Beginners/Intermediates/Intro To Odour/Odour 2/Odour 3
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE category_slug=classes]
Drop In Classes
The following drop in classes are being offered at Mona Vale – please email Tara if your interested in attending any of these classes – $35 per dog per class

and when i add[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE sold_out_button_text=’Event closed’] under each section then it does work and shows some events as closed – but it also adds events that are not public and have no slug attached
does that make sense?

Hi Sue,
Here’s how to fix this:
1) You remove every occurrence of this from the page:
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE sold_out_button_text='Event closed']
2) Then you make the following edits:
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE category_slug=classes]
change to:
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE category_slug=classes sold_out_button_text = 'Event closed']
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE category_slug=snc]
change to:
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE category_slug=snc sold_out_button_text = 'Event closed']
and so on. After you finish making the edits you’ll click on the Update button.
