I have E4 installed on a WP 4.8.1 with the Divi theme installed. When i try to browse to wp-admin and go to Event Espresso>Events page, i get a 500 error. All other pages, like Registrations, Transactions, Pricing, Venues – all work fine. Its only the event management page that throws an error.

Hi there,

Can you try the troubleshooting steps outlined here:

Hey John, thanks in advance for the help.

Yes, I have tried many of the items in that post:
1. EE4 version – 4.9.38
2. This is happening logged into wp-admin console, not on the site itself. I have tried switching to default WP theme (which I don’t believe has any affect on the admin console, but maybe I’m wrong), and the 500 still occurs when I click Events.
3. Disabled all plugins except EE, and error still occurs.
4. Not seeing any JS error from Admin Home page and navigating to EventEspresso>Events. Only shows 500 error. No other information.

Have you tried bumping up the WordPress PHP memory limit?

You can increase the amount of memory available for WordPress by following this guide:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

You can use an [FTP client][1] and [a text editor][2] to edit the site’s wp-config.php file:

I had not tried bumping up the memory, but did resolve by doing the following: Connected via FTP to WP root, and went in and manually deleted the EE4 folder under plugins. I then logged into the admin console and re-uploaded the EE4 latest version and activated. The Events page is now working again.
