Is there anyway in EE3 to show events that are just going on today with EVENT_LIST?

Also, a follow up, is there a way to only show events in a range, for example, just events the weekend coming up?

Hi,
With the EE calendar add-on activated, you could do:
[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR cal_view=basicDay]
and that will show events for today.
With a range of dates (like your upcoming weekend example) that would require some custom dynamic queries, so it’d be something you could contract with a developer to build. If you’re not already working with a developer, we recommend codeable.io.

Not out of the box because it would require custom queries.
