Events not showing, please help!

I recently added many events to event espresso in the backend, by duplicating existing events multiple times. For Example we have a program called Happiness Program which occurs at least once a month. Please see here: artoflivingretreatcenter.org/calendar.

After adding several of these Happiness Program events, they stopped showing up, e.g. we have a Happiness Program on April 15, but it does not show on our calendar. Similarly any other events I’ve since added in event espresso are not showing in the calendar. Your help is much appreciated!

Hi Brian,

It looks like the page you linked to is being served as a cached file. So it may help to clear your W3 Total Cache plugin’s cache.

Hi Josh,
Thanks for the help, but that didn’t seem to help. I emptied the W3 Total Cache plug’s cache and my browser’s cache, but no luck.

Hi Brian,

The Art of Living Happiness Program on April 15 is showing up on this page:

https://artoflivingretreatcenter.org/event-registration/

as well as here:

https://artoflivingretreatcenter.org/event-registration/?ee=132

The /calendar page appears to be using a really nice customized template. Was that custom built by a developer? Can you check with them to see if there’s something else you need to do when you publish events to ensure that they show up on the /calendar page?

Hi Josh,
Yes I do believe the /calendar page was custom built. I created the Happiness Program on April 15 by duplicating a Happiness Program already displayed on the /calendar page. I just modified the registration button URL and, of course, the date. However, for some reason the /calendar doesn’t display it, or a few other programs created in the same way. Those that are displaying on the /calendar page were also created by duplication, so I am not sure what is causing this issue.

I’m not sure either because we did not code/build and therefore cannot support the calendar page. Can you communicate the issue with the developer of the calendar page?

I was trying to avoid contacting the developer, since they will charge for any time spent fixing the issue, but I think it is my only option. Thank you for taking a look anyway.

You do have the option to ask if there’s something else you need to do when you publish events to ensure that they show up on the /calendar page. They may not have tested their code to ensure that duplicated events will also display on the calendar.
