I’m planning on purchasing the full version, but wanted to give the Lite version a test drive. I followed all of the setup directions, but somehow I can’t get the events page to display anything at all. Here’s a direct link to the page: http://nowinmotion.org/wordpress/event-registration/ Please ignore the Events from the menu, that’s the current configuration I have that doesn’t allow for actual registration. The only thing that that page is [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] and my event is Open, active, with the registration form set to display. Any thoughts why the page looks blank? Thanks! |
Hi Josh, If you have other event plugins active on this same site, they may not be compatible. A good to way to evaluate Event Espresso would be on a local or test server as an alternative to on a live site where you may have other plugins that have similar functionality. |

Hi Josh, I disabled all of my other plugins (none of which are event based) and still no luck. I’m using the Risen theme which was tested with Event Espresso and working just fine. Still doesn’t have any effect. Any other suggestions? Thanks, |
Josh, It looks like the Facebook Walleria plugin is throwing a JavaScript error on the page. Did you also deactivate this one? Screenshot: http://www.screencast.com/t/4IljOhbxKi |

I had deactivated all of them, but I just re-deactivated it to see if it makes a difference. Doesn’t appear to on my end. Thanks. |

Hi Josh, Please update to the latest version of the Risen theme and let us know if that doesn’t resolve these issues: The author of the risen theme has changed the way the theme handles shortcode content filtering in a recent update: |

That did the trick! Can’t believe I completely missed the update! Thanks again! |
You’re welcome. |
