Events not honoring WishList Member level assignments

I use WishList Member for my membership, and I have a VIP membership level with exclusive events for those members. I created separate VIP events and attached only VIP membership levels, yet those events still show up on the calendar for all members, and all can access these restricted events. I was going to attach screenshots, but I don’t see a way to do that here. This is a critical problem. What can I do to fix it?

Hi there,

We don’t ‘integrate’ with any membership plugins so it depends on what WishList is doing and how you are wanting it to work here.

How are you setting the VIP membership level on the events?

The EE4 User Integration add-on adds a ‘minimum capability’ field to the ticket options so if WishList members have a specific capability added to their account/role you can use that setting to only allow those members to register onto the site.

With the above add-on an additional field is added to the ticket settings, you can see it here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/wp-user-integration/#ee4usage

If the current user viewing the ticket has the capability set in that field they can register onto the ticket, if they don’t they can not.

Is that what you are looking for?
