Hi there,

Did you flush your permalinks after setting the above? If not, go to Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks.

Make no changes and hit save. Do that any time you change the above setting to flush your permalinks.

If nothing shows still, try temporarily switching to a default theme such as one of the twenty* themes to see if anything shows there on that same output.

The events slug takes your to an archive of the EE post type, if the theme doesn’t have an archive template that can be used or specifically uses X post type in the template if can cause no events to show, so the above tells you if it’s the post type or the theme itself.

Try changing the slug to a anything else, ‘events’ is the default but you can try anything other than what you have now.

Remember to flush permalinks after changing the slug.
