Events list problem

Why does the events list display the events in post-date-order not in the order of the event dates? Whats wrong or how can I change it?
I was so glad to find a plugin that seems to work with my theme quite well…
For the moment I use the free version, but would have no problem to buy it. But it should work…

It should be displaying the events in the order of event dates. That’s what it’s designed to do anyway. If you put the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] short code on a page, do the events display in the correct order there?
