Events grid with filter?

Hi. We’ve been asked to see if we can change the way that EE4 shows events for one of our customers so that it looks like this https://amsp.org.uk/events
Our customer really likes the ‘clear layout’ and the use of the filters across the top. I see that there’s an Events Grid add on which looks like it might take us somewhere close to a similar layout but it seems that the event details only appear on hover….? Can they show at all times and without the overlay? Also, I guess there wouldn’t be an equivalent filter…?

Hi Jamie,

The Events Grid add-on’s CSS can be overridden so the details are always displayed with a little bit of CSS.

.ee_grid_box_v2 .ee_overlay {
    top: 0;
}

An equivalent filter similar to that other site’s would require custom PHP and/or JavaScript development.
