Hello –
2 events are not pulling the featured image and description on the archive page. The page loads and they show and then disappear. The others are showing without problems.

*Also – is there a way to change the wording for EVENT to something more custom to us – the banner, the buttons say something to the effect of add this “event” or “events” – wondering if we can change that application wide. Thanks!

Also – I have the upcoming events widget area pulling in the 3rd footer area and it is showing blank like the couple events in the archive. Maybe the issue is related.

Added info – the upcoming programs area in the footer (which is the EE widget) do seem to show site wide except on the ee event archive page. I see the footer area on the homepage and I also see it on the single event pages. Just not on the archive page. Thanks.

Hi Matt,
The feature images do show, but when the list items are styled by the theme using inline-flex they break and I think the reason for this is due to the message elements EE injects into the page.
We inject some empty divs into the start of the loop which are used as placeholders for error messages, I think that’s breaking the flexbox layout here.

Event Espresso intentionally does no display the upcoming events widget on the events archive, the idea being not 2 show the same event lists as the archive will show all the events and then the widget shows some/all of those same events.

I get the redundancy for the footer widget content on that specific page but its better than showing nothing at all right? And it makes sense on the rest of the website pages/posts to show upcoming events in that area. Is there a way to get it to show even if its redundant?

There’s a ‘Show on all pages’ option on the widget itself, set that to Yes and it should display on the archive.
So in Dashboard -> Widgets -> Event Espresso upcoming events widget -> Show on all pages.
