Hi everyone. I am running WP 3.5.1 and Event Espresso 3.1.32.1.P The events appear normally in the calendar and the widget, is it possible to sign up. But in admin panel there are no events anymore and no attendees. I just registered myself twice to an event to try it out. I used PayPal and bank transfer to pay. Both went through, but my name is not there. Nor are the events! Is there anything that can be done? I run an association in Italy (even if I live in Australia) and I need the events to work as that’s what we do: run courses. People need to sign up. Thank you very much! 😉 Stefano

Hi Stephano, It sounds like you will need to adjust the filters to view the events. When you go to the event overview, can you try changing the event filter to Active/Inactive? |

Hi Josh.
Thank you for your quick reply. In the event overview, I have 0 (zero) events, zero attendees and so on. It’s really strange…I looked at the dB in cpanel and the events are there, so are the attendees. But in the event overview it say there is nothing there… |
|
Hi Stefano, In the Event Overview, have you also checked the Live Search field to make sure there is nothing entered into it? |
|
Hi Dean! I checked and there is nothing there. I have also exported the data on Excel file and both courses and attendees are there. Nothing shows up in the Event Overview though… |

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this? If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ NOTE: login details need to be Admin level. |
|
Sure it is, Dean! I sent you the login details, if you need FTP access as well just let me know and I will provide it. |

Hi, OK, I havent fully gotten to the bottom of this yet but I think I know at least a partial reason to the issues. According to your database plugin (the one I wanted to use, Adminer, failed due to some issue with your WP set up), showed you have two events logged. The one event that I could get to show by using the Mostra Attivi/Inattivi filter has no event dates or times, even though its an In Progress event. Generally unless you have set the event to On Going the events need dates and times (even with On Going its recommended). So I think that that is definitely an issue here as test event shows up just fine as it has dates/times. |

Hi Dean. Problem is: how do I set up an event as On Going? Also, how can I modify an event now, as I do not see it? I have 2 events and they are always on going. You can register to them every day of the year. They do not have a time, because…hard to explain… Pretty much, you sign up to take a course. Once you did and paid, a tutor contacts you and set a date with you for the course. Plus, I add another couple of events every year but they have a date/time because they last just a couple of days. A bit complicated for me, I am not very good at this kind of things…:-) |

Wait! With Mostra Attivi/Inattivi they show up now! Great! So now I need to set them up as On Going, don’t I? How do I do that? |
|
Hi, In the event editor screen on the right is an option called Event Status: and in that drop down list is On Going. |
|
Hi Dean. I looked at it, the 2 events are both On Going. What I do not understand is why everything was working perfectly a few days ago and now it’s not. Unfortunately, I cannot set a date for those 2 events. The date would appear on the event page like Starts: 1 January – Ends: 31 December. It would look funny… By the way, I tried with the date and still nothing… |
Hi Stefano, There is an open ticket to fix the issue that comes up when ongoing events don’t have dates set. You can still access them if you filter by event status and select Show active/inactive. |
