Events calendar updated view –how to use it actually as an admin

Looking for a guide for admins using the events calendar as it has changed.
Prior look took us about 5 key strokes and we could add dates for upcoming classes now it view has definitely changed and is not quick add.
We are not develpoers, we just want to manage the calendar and input additional classes after duplicating the previous descriped class.
