Hi Everyone

Would someone be able to provide some insight on an issue, I seem to be having trouble with displaying my events properly.
As seen here: http://thecreativesoul.ca/workshops/

Im using the Massive Dynamic theme and the only place I can add the coding is through the html page editor. Everything else was created with the live editing option on the site.
Is there a special way to be adding the eventespresso tags?

Hi there,

So is that just the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode added to a page?

The default events archive works fine here: http://thecreativesoul.ca/events/

So its likely an issue with the page builder the theme is using, EE doesn’t support page builders, although it will usually work with them you just can’t edit/build all the EE content using the builder.

Can you send me a copy of the theme so I can take a look at this locally?

You’ll need to host the .zip file from theme forest somewhere (Dropbox for example) and email us a link we can use to download it as it will very likely be rejected (due to filesize) if included directly in the email.

Hi Tony

Yes, this is just using the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode added to a page.
Thats the part I was confused with, for like you said the events archive works great.

Hi,

I can see there’s some CSS in the theme that sets all html header elements to position: absolute. Which in this case seriously disrupts the page layout.

Here’s a CSS fix you can add to the site’s Custom CSS panel:

.espresso-event-header-dv header {
position: static !important;
}
