Hello,
We have sever events set up and some how some one was able to register more then the maximum number of attendees designated for the event. Is that normal?

That can happen when the registration limit is almost met and someone starts the registration process and doesn’t finish right away, and then someone else at the same time gets in & registers before the other finishes. The dev team has refactored the registration process in Event Espresso 3.2 to prevent this from happening.

If the events tend to sell out quickly, one suggestion I would make would be to lower the limit by a few places, and set up a wait-list event to fill any openings: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/create-a-waiting-list-for-your-event/

Thanks Josh, is their a timetable on the release of 3.2?

That is a question I do not have an answer for. There is more information about the release plan in this forum topic: https://eventespresso.com/topic/event-espresso-3-2-screenshots/
