EVENT_LIST shortcode not displaying the same as the main registration page

Hello,
I have two events that are actively accepting registration and I am trying to display the basic main registration box for each on additional pages. The [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode does not work, so I tried [EVENT_LIST] and it displays both events, but in a 200px tall scrolling window. As well, there is too much space between paragraphs and the boxes themselves. Essentially, it appears the two shortcodes are using different formatting (CSS). How can I get them to look the same?

Thanks,
Bobby
Using WP 3.6 and EE 3.1.35.P

Hi,

I checked the site we have on file for you, and Event Espresso isnt active?

The [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode should only be used on one page as it is a necessary shortcode. You dont have to publicly display thatpage so long as it is published and accessible.

If the page isnt working, I would recommend deleting the page completely, even remove it from trash and create a new page and add the shortcode. Then go to the General Settings and in the Page Settings section make sure that that page is allocated correctly.

Regarding the narrow [EVENT_LIST], without seeing it it is hard to be sure, but I think you have copied it fromt he documentation and it has taken < pre > tags with it. Can you check the page you added it to and make sure you are on the TEXT tab. If the shortcode looks something like this

<pre>[EVENT_LIST]</pre>

delete the pre tags and update the page.

Yes, the plugin was deactivated because the site is live and I am using another event registration plugin until I can get EE up and running.
As for the second part, yet the PRE tags were the issue.
Thanks for the help! It looks great now…
Any word on when the import attendees addition will be released? I have about 100 I need to hand enter unless I can import a CSV.

Thanks again,
Bobby
