I’m creating new events but
[EVENT_LIST category_identifier=”xyz”]
won’t list any of the new ones.

I’m also having the issue talked about here:
https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee3-new-events-are-pre-populated-with-info-errors-occuring/

Where when I create a new event it is pre-populated with about 100+ start times and pricing options. Could they be related?

OK…
By poking and poking, I found that when I create new events this field:
recurrence_id
is not getting set.
All new events have the recurrence_id set to NULL.
So, now the question is:

What bit of code to I poke to get that fixed?

Thanks in advance!!!

Hi Peter,

You actually update to the current version of EE3 to get the fix for recurrence_id issue. Here’s a link to the the EE3 change log:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/change-log/#3.1.37.8

The issue with the pre-populated start times and pricing is caused from running an older version of EE3 + a newer version of WordPress. After you update to the current version of EE3, you can go into the database (using a tool like phpmyadmin) and look in the _events_prices and _events_start_end tables. If there are any rows there that have event_ID = 0, you can delete those.

Ok, so I need to download a new version.
I have 2 different accounts with EE wherein I’ve purchased these licences, but haven’t used them yet:

These under the username: pvangorder
— Removed —

And these under the username: petervg:
— Removed —

Have those expired? Even though I haven’t used them??
Can any of those be converted downloading the latest version?

Thank you!

Hi there,

Please do not post your license keys on the forums as they are public, I’ve removed them from the above reply.

When you purchase a support license (which gives you access to updates) it is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, this is based on the account itself not when each individual license key is used. Both of the accounts mentioned above appear to be older than 12 months and have not been renewed so currently do not have access to the downloads.

I would recommend contacting our sales department to discuss this which can be done using this form:
