I want to let the user register for events, but have it send an email to me and I can contact them via phone to gather payment info. I found another thread about payments without using a payment gateway where it said to use the attendee pre-approval function. It kind of works but on the event registration page, after I entered attendee info, it still says choose payment option (though that is blank, there are no options since I disabled all of them in the settings).
How can I just have a submit button there that submits the info via email to me?

Hi John,
At least one payment gateway is needed for Event Espresso to work correctly. If the events are free then you won’t need to select a payment gateway.
Let us know if you are seeing something different for free events.

The events arent free. My client wants to get the site up asap, so we dont have the payment gateway set up yet, and where the email comes through and he will have someone in his office contact the registrant and get the payment info from them on the phone.

In this case, I would keep the pre-approval option and enable the invoice payment gateway.
