Client is wanting to show event date/times but ticket sales dates time is showing instead. Can’t locate how to change this. Please advise.

Thank you.

That doesn’t look like a ticket sales dates time, unless you’re only opening ticket sales from 3AM to 12PM on February 2.

What this actually looks like is the server’s timezone setting got highjacked by another WordPress plugin. Does the event time correctly display with all other plugins deactivated and a default WP activated?

No new plugins have been added. The dates/times were reporting accurately earlier. Could the host have made changes here?

Can you give us more information about this event and the WP timezone settings so we can investigate further?

1) What’s set for the Event’s start date+time, end date+time?
2) What’s set for the ticket sale start date+time and sale end date+time?
3) What’s set in WP Settings > General for the site timezone? Do you know if that setting has been changed recently?
4) Has the WordPress theme been switched?

Thanks Josh – attached is a screenshot of how event date and times are configured in backend.

Downloading the .ics file and adding it my Macbook calendar shows correct date times.

No changes to theme or time zone. Time zone has been set to New York for Eastern time since install. Verified it’s still set to New York.

OK so it’s definitely not showing the ticket sales dates time instead. Something is offsetting the timezone, and usually it’s another plugin or in very rare cases, the active WordPress theme.

In order to find out what’s causing the timezone offset, you can try temporarily switching to another WordPress theme, then deactivate all other plugins. If the issue persists under those conditions, then you can contact your host to see if they’ve changed the server’s timezone settings.
