Event Times Custom Templates

I know nothing about this plugin, im taking over from a previous designer.

I held off on upgrading because everything broke when I tried to do it before, but now the issue with missing information on the excel sheets has become too much so I upgraded.

Now the event times do not show up and the formatting is all off. I tried to use diffmerge and failed, I copied all the old templates to the upload directory and it the events wouldnt even display on the site, so that didn’t work. I’m lost and I need help this is critical and I’ll pay someone if I have too, I’ve been crawling these forums for hours and im just wasting time. PLEASE HELP!

Hi Steve,

You probably have outdated template files in your wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory. This sometimes happens after an update if you have moved the template files to that location. Event Espresso first looks in that directory for template files incase you have customized them to change the look of the registration pages. If no files are there, then the default template files are used. When we update Event Espresso, sometimes there are conflicts with the older files in that directory.

You can renamed that directory by clicking “Rename Template Directory” in Template Settings. This button will only show if you have templates in that directory. This can be undone via ftp, if needed.

That should restore functionality to your registration process which can give you time to update/correct your layout.
