Event ticket stuck in Pending status, but shows complete, class is now sold out

We noticed that the Llama Class had one person (Molly Shakar) register, though showing as “Pending Payment.” Even though her payment went through, so she is not in the class because the class capped at 24 and it filled up after she registered. Do you know why this would happen?

Hi Michael,

This is not something we heard before, is this happening to any particular event or every event on the website?
If it’s any particular event can you please edit the event and check what is the “Default registration status” https://tinyurl.com/2b5u2bjm

Also, please navigate to EE > Messages > and check if there is any message generated about payment received and registration approved.

Looking at the Event Registration Options, the Default Registration Status is set to Pending Payment (this is the settings used for all events).
In the EE > Messages > Payment was received and Registration Approved

That’s strange, the Registration Approved message generated only when the registration status changed to Approved.

But you got the email and still have the status as pending.

Can you please activate the debug mode and try to book that ticket again to see if there is any error message in the error log:

also, please try troubleshooting methods in the page to see if there is any conflict.

PHP Deprecated:
PHP Deprecated is just a warning that there’s new way to do it, but the code will still work. It happen when PHP update and so the plugin codes needed to be updated. It wouldn’t cause issue at the moment. And our developers are aware with that warning.

Sorry for the confusion. But this is correct output. If payment is Received then they will receive approve registration. You click the question mark beside Default Registration status for more details

Pending Payment
A status of Pending Payment means that a registration has not paid but they ARE able to make payments (if necessary). Pending Payment registrations do NOT count towards registration limits, remaining tickets, and calculations for available seats. If registration for a free event occurs, then registrations are automatically set to Approved. For paid tickets, Pending Payment registrations are set to Approved when full payment is recorded.

Let me look on your site, Can you also send the registration email that you think it has problem?
